In the beginning of the year, we learned about coupons. Coupons are little pieces of paper that say bonus coupons on them as act as the class money system. You get paid for Pay Day, D's, getting sick people's homework put together, helping out around the classroom, and up slips. Mrs.Truby's closet is filled with candy and that's where you can spend some of your coupons. You always put your name on the back of your coupons, or somebody can take it and use it. You can also can loose coupons if you're talking or messing around.
After Christmas break we switched to keeping a checkbook. You get to make a checkbook and inside the checkbook is a register and checks. Every time you run out of space on your check register, you have to get some more registers. Every time you run out of checks, you can get some more. You can find all of the checks in the third drawer of the large file cabinet.
